Section 1 - Versions

There are three versions of PSP

- The Fat PSP 1000 - The 'CLASSIC'

- The Slim+Lite PSP 2000 - Voted best by users, and testers

- The Slim+Lite PSP 3000 - To new and most users and testers say, still needs some finishing touches

- The New PSP Go - Now includes a 16GB+ internal memory, slide screen, smaller size, SD card slot, No more UMD Disks (Download Games Only)

Section 2 - What does the PSP do

Music, MP3 - MP4 - WAVE - WMA* and Music on the Sony PSP UMD Disk

Pictures, BMP, GIF, and most common Picture files

Videos, MPEG4 - Visual / MPEG4 - AVC, and Movies on the Sony PSP UMD Disk

Games, Games saved on Memory Stick, and Games on the Snoy PSP UMD Disk

 

Section 3 - How to upload DATA to your PSP

1. If connecting through USB, go to settings on your PSP and select USB Connection

2. Go to my computer and enter your PSP Folder

3. Make a folder labeled MUSIC or PHOTO or VIDEO, in capital letters

4. Put your pictures in PHOTO folder, Music in MUSIC folder, and Videos in VIDEO FOLDER**

 

*WMA Only plays after online activation

**Videos have to be in MPEG4 - Visual or MPEG - AVC to play on the PSP, if you have a video file not in those formats, download an MPEG4 -Visual / MPEG4 - AVC Video Converter like 'PSP VIDEO 9'.
