1. Scams: Make sure any credit card / bank transfers etc... are on a secure site, if not DONT ENTER DETAILS. To see if a site is secure there eill be a paddlock down the bottom or top of web browser (Internet Explorer / Firefox etc...) Make sure you get a recept in an email or after purchase and make sure it is the amount you wanted to pay.
2. Usernames + Passwords: Only enter usernames and/or passwords on the original site (eg: say you have a hotmail / windows live account. Windows Live / Hotmail will only ask for your username and/or password on one of there websites / programs like: www.hotmail.com, www.msn.com, www.live.com, www.home.live.com, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Mail) Companys DO NOT ASK FOR USERNAMES and/or PASSWORDS IN EMAILS, if you are asked for a password from a different site than you got it from or in email: DO NOT ENTER IT!
